Nikon plans to phase out DSLRs entirely



Nikon revised its mid-term management plan and almost announced the death of the F-mount. The reason for this decision was the forecast of a drop in revenue from sales of digital SLR cameras by 85% to 4% of the division total sales until 2025.

Although Nikon has stated that parts shortages have affected DSLR production, and it continues to remove DSLR lenses from its website as discontinued, suggesting the company is actively withdrawing from the DSLR market.
